Job Description Summary
This is a recruitment for a short-term/temporary position. This recruitment will be open until all positions are filled.
Provides support to the College for Kids Program through assisting the instructors in class material preparation, classroom management, evaluations, and maintenance of student supplies. May assist the program through marketing outreach to area school districts, data analysis, and other related duties as required.
Essential Functions & Qualifications
Required:
- Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of College for Kids students
Desirable: - Experience working with youth in a camp, daycare, or other educational setting
Additional Information
This is a short-term/temporary position.
Students currently enrolled at Cuesta College will be given priority.
Placement as an Aide I, II, III, IV, or V will be based on experience in the College for Kids program and/or other comparable work experience.
Applications and course proposals will be reviewed until the course schedule is set.
Selected candidates will be required to attend a mandatory in-person New Hire Orientation on June 1st from 5:00-6:30 p.m. Zoom accommodations may be made at the coordinator's discretion.
College for Kids Program dates: Monday through Thursday, June 8 - July 16, 2026
